I just ordered my sketchbook!
Just a few weeks ago I found out about the Sketchbook Project, a project the Art House Co-op does every year. The Art House is an artistic community, stated in Brookly, NY.
The concept of the Sketchbook Project is quite simple. You sign up, and your order your Moleskine® sketchbook. When you  acquire your sketchbook, you can do pretty much whatever you want with it. You can customize its cover whichever way you like, you fill it with sketches, drawings, words. Then you send it back to the Art House and they digitize it, they upload its content on the internet and then your sketchbook tours in America, and since this year, also in Australia and London, among other sketchbooks.
I have got to admit, it is a fairly brilliant idea, and I am most excited about participating!

Through yatzer.com I found out about Reykjavik based fashion designer Sruli Recht and his latest A/W menswear collection "When Gravity Fails" for 2011. His work is inspired by Icelandic culture and all the materials used for the collection were acquired from local suppliers. The pieces are absolutely magnificent and outstanding, with prevalent materials wool and leather.
